CHRIS WILDER - 'ANOTHER BIG EFFORT REQUIRED'

6 March 2015

The Cobblers boss ahead of Plymouth Argyle v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder previews this Saturday’s trip to Plymouth.

“It’s another really tough game for us and if we can get any sort of result it will be an achievement but we are in the mood for a win and that’s what we will be going for,” he said.

“Plymouth are a good side and John Sheridan is an excellent manager at this level. They beat us comfortably here before Christmas even though the scoreline in the end was close.

“We’ve had two massive tests this week and we’ve shown different qualities in both games to get the result. I think we played better football against Shrewsbury but on Tuesday night when questions were asked of us defensively we stood up to them and to get a result against Portsmouth at any time in a season is a good achievement.

“We are enjoying life at the moment but we’ve got to keep our feet on the ground and we will need another big effort on Saturday.

“I’m sure John will have his side firing on all cylinders, they’ve been good at home this season but I think we are a dangerous side to play against.

“We want to be successful and we’ve got an outstanding group of players who are giving everything for the football club. The recipe for success is hard work and enthusiasm and we have to keep that going.”
