Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s under 18s began the second phase of their season on Saturday when they welcomed Yeovil Town to Moulton College in the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division.
The game ended 2-2, the Cobblers goals scored by Joe Iaciofano and Callum Westwood.
“It was a tough game in difficult conditions,” said Lead Foundation Coach Mark Lyons.
“We came from behind twice in the game and the attitude of the players was good.
“Both teams worked hard but I thought we showed the better quality on the ball and overall I was pleased with the application and effort of the players.”
