The Cobblers will still be without Alfie Potter for the visit of York City but Lawson D’Ath is set to return to the squad.
“Lawson has worked extremely hard to get himself back fit and he will be available for the weekend,” said boss Chris Wilder.
“Alfie has had a bit of a struggle with a hamstring injury.
“We have to give him a bit more time but it’s disappointing for the player because he’s not really been able to get going lately."
