CLUB STATEMENT: HMRC WINDING UP PETITION OFFICIALLY WITHDRAWN

30 November 2015

Kelvin Thomas - 'We now focus on developing future plans'

Northampton Town are pleased to confirm that the HMRC winding up petition has been officially withdrawn following a court hearing on Monday and payment of all outstanding amounts last week.

Chairman Kelvin Thomas said, "This is a very positive step as we move forward.  We can now focus on our review of the club and developing the future plans.

"We really enjoyed our first game in the win against Yeovil last weekend and the welcome we received from the fans was really special.

"Now it's time for the FA Cup.  The players have given themselves a wonderful chance of getting into the 3rd Round and it's a great time to get behind them, so make sure to bring all your family and friends out to Sixfields this Saturday."
