SIXFIELDS ATTENDANCES SHOW 15% RISE IN 2015/16

Cobblers crowds on the up

Northampton Town's title winning Sky Bet League 2 campaign has seen attendances rise by 15% at Sixfields.

The Cobblers average home attendance in 2014/15 was 4,599 but that figure rose to 5,279 in 2015/16, a 15% lift.

A new Sixfields ground record attendance was set twice in the closing weeks of the season. The previous record of 7,557 was set back in September 1998 for a league game with Manchester City, but this was broken by the visit of Bristol Rovers on April 9 (7,579) and again for the Luton Town fixture on April 30 (7,664.)

The Cobblers had a number of sell out home fixtures in 2015/16, and having won promotion to League 1, more sold out games are expected in 2016/17. To beat the rush and secure your seat, season tickets are now on sale for next season, with prices frozen at League 2 levels for season tickets purchased before May 31st.
