Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division action
Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Bristol Rovers on Saturday for their latest Football League Youth Alliance Merit Division fixture.
The Cobblers were beaten 3-0 but despite the result coach Craig Hinton felt there were positives for his side.
“Bristol Rovers are a very strong side and we had a very young side out with an average age of 16,” he said.
“A 3-0 defeat never looks good but despite the result there were lots of positives for us to take from the game.”
