Screen put in to help improve matchday experience
A big screen has been installed at Sixfields.
The screen, which is in the south east corner of the stadium, has been installed by Fonix, and will now undergo a period of testing.
The club will start to use the screen at the first available home game after completion of testing and will begin with a soft launch before the full service begins at a later date. When fully operational the screen will show past match highlights, club and partner messages, team line ups, in match graphics, scores from other games, birthday and other supporter messages and much more.
The screen is 25 square metres and while most stadiums have screens that are 24mm pitch or 16mm pitch, this screen is 10mm pitch. The smaller the pitch number, the better the resolution, so this is a top end screen for the enjoyment of supporters.

"We spoke to a number of suppliers and did extensive research to find the right partner for this, which is a major investment by the club in improving the matchday experience for supporters. Fonix have put together an excellent package for us both in terms of installation and support and we are looking forward to seeing the screen in action."
