Defender has minor achilles problem
Northampton Town defender Kelvin Langmead will miss the start of the new season.
Langmead has a minor achilles injury and will be out for a few weeks.
"It is not too serious and we don't expect Kelvin to be out for too long," said manager Chris Wilder.
"He will miss the start of the season but we are confident he will be ready soon afterwards.
"The good news is that his previous knee injury isn't a concern at all and we are sure he will be involved with us sooner rather than later."
