CHRIS WILDER - 'DRAW WAS FAIR'

Cobblers boss Chris Wilder felt that on Saturday’s goalless draw at Hartlepool was a fair result.

“It was a tough afternoon but a draw was probably fair,” he said.

“Both teams were going for the win and I thought it was a decent game. We were probably a little bit off it but you have to give Hartlepool a load of credit.

“The players are disappointed but to win ten games of football in a row at any level is an unbelievable achievement and they deserve a lot of credit.

“I said to the players after the game that records come and records go but we are not here to break records, we are here to win games of football and accumulate points.

“We are still in a fantastic position and we’ve got some great games coming up.”
