The Cobblers boss ahead of Northampton Town v Hartlepool United
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder wants his team to out Saturday's loss at Newport County behind them as they prepare for Tuesday night’s visit from Hartlepool United, KO 7.45pm.
“After Saturday we want to get back to winning ways,” he said.
“We need to be better than we were at Newport and we know that we can do a lot better than that.
“Hartlepool will come and pose a threat but we know that if we play at full tilt we can win the game.
“I think League 2 is going to be very tight again this year, Burton have started really well but I don’t think there will be an outstanding team that runs away with it.
“It will be down to small margins, mentality, injuries and suspensions and maybe getting that little bit of luck along the way.”
