Winger puts pen to paper to stay at Sixfields
Chris Hackett has signed a new 2 year contract to stay at Northampton Town.
The 31 year old, who arrived at Sixfields in the summer of 2012 and has made 88 appearances for the Cobblers, has put pen to paper on a new deal at Sixfields.
"I am really pleased Chris has decided to stay with us," said manager Chris Wilder.
"He is one of the most effective attacking players at this level and as I have said before, when he plays well, we play well.
"I was really keen to keep Chris, he is a big player for us and to have got this deal tied up so early is excellent news
"Chris is another building block in place for us and I have been really pleased with the work we have done so far this summer.
"I hope the supporters can see what we are trying to do, we have kept hold of and added some quality players to the squad in the last few weeks. There is more to come but I am really happy with how things are going so far this summer."
