The chance for all under 7 to under 10 teams to play on Sixfields pitch
We are now taking entries for the 2015 Cobblers Cup.
The Cobblers Cup is a football tournament for youth football teams that runs from U7’s through to U10’s with teams getting to play on the pitch at Sixfields, just like the pros and will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May.
The tournament is 6 a side, with squads of 9 players, although additional players can be added at a cost of £5 each. Each u7 and u8 team will get the full 40 minutes of football allowed in a day, while u9 and u10 teams will each play 3 x 12 minute group matches. The top two teams from each group will progress to the cup knockout competition while the bottom two teams will progress to the plate knockout competition. The knockout rounds will be 15 minute matches.
There are a maximum of 9 players in a squad with roll on, roll off substitutes and all games will be played on the Sixfields pitch.
Car parking is £2, with entry into the stadium £2 for adults and free for under 16s.
Spaces are already filling up fast with previous entrants keen to return, so please act fast if you want to be part of what is sure to be a sell out weekend.
