Defender leaves Sixfields
Northampton Town defender David Artell has left the club after having his contract terminated.
Artell, who arrived at the club in the summer of 2012, left Sixfields before the transfer window closed, meaning he is now a free agent and is able to sign for another club outside of the transfer window.
"There are no hard feelings with Dave and it suits both parties to go our separate ways," said boss Aidy Boothroyd.
"Sometimes moves just don't work out and Dave was unlucky with injury last season. We wish him well for the future."
