Cobblers boss Chris Wilder reflecting on Tuesday night’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy second round 2-0 defeat at Millwall.
“I’m disappointed to go out of the competition,” he said.
“I thought we were well in the game and we had enough of the ball without really creating too many clear cut chances. We just needed to be a bit more positive.
“It was quite a slow game really and once Millwall scored it was an uphill battle for us.
“We’re not going to dwell, we have to get over this result quickly and we move onto Hartlepool on Saturday.”
