Football League Youth Alliance action
Northampton Town’s youth team welcomed Cambridge United to Moulton College on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
Goals from Dodzi Agbenu (2) and Robbie Parsons secured a 3-1 win for the Cobblers with coach Craig Hinton delighted with his side’s reaction to the midweek defeat at MK Dons.
“It was a good reaction from the defeat on Tuesday,” he said.
“The lads played well, it was a good all round performance and hopefully this gives us something to build on.”
