Former Cobblers, Liverpool and England defender is guest in Grosvenor Casino 1897 Suite on Saturday
Saturday's special guest in the Grosvenor Casino 1897 Suite is former Cobblers defender Phil Neal.
Phil is one of the most successful English players of all time, having won eight First Divisions, four League Cups, five FA Charity Shields, four European Cups, one UEFA Cup and one UEFA Super Cup during his eleven years at Liverpool. He also had a long international career with England, winning 50 caps and playing in the 1982 World Cup.
After making nearly 200 appearances for the Cobblers, he moved to Liverpool in 1974, playing 455 times for the Reds. He finished his playing career by appearing 64 times for Bolton Wanderers in the late 1980s.
