Cobblers boss Rob Page reflecting on Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly against QPR.
“It was a great test for us against very good opposition,” he said.
“We showed a different side to our play that I haven’t seen all pre-season and I was really pleased with the effort and commitment of the group.
“It was a disciplined, hard working performance, we switched off for their goal which was disappointing but we reacted well and it was a top class finish from Alex.
“We know how we want to play and we know what we need to address.
“We’ve been limited because of injuries but there will be more players coming in.
“We could bring in three players right now if we wanted but that’s not the answer because they need to be the right players.”
