Greg Nunney to be new matchday announcer
Northampton Town Football Club have signed a deal with Connect FM to be the club's new official commercial radio partner.
Connect FM broadcasts to Northamptonshire on 97.2 and 107.4 and DAB as well as via www.connectfm.com
Part of the deal will see Gregg Nunney become the new matchday announcer at Sixfields.
Gregg has been working with Connect FM since 1996 and is now back where he started - the voice of sports news and views at the station. You can hear him for the chat show on Connect FM, Talking Sport, every Friday from 5pm and on Saturday mornings. He is a keen promoter of grass roots football.
"We are really pleased to team up with Connect FM," said Northampton Town Commercial and Marketing Manager Caroline Lucy.
"They are an expanding radio station who are becoming more and more popular in Northamptonshire and we can help them promote their name in Northampton, while they can offer their expertise to our matchday presentation.
"I think Gregg will be popular with supporters, he is a passionate football fan and we hope supporters will enjoy hearing him in action at Sixfields."
