Cobblers boss pleased with training ground reaction
New manager Justin Edinburgh has been delighted with the reaction he has received from the playing squad since taking over at the start of the week.
“I’ve had a good response from the players, they’ve trained with real enthusiasm and we need that every day," he said.
“Confidence is key in football and we have got to instill that confidence and belief into the players.
“I’ve got to give them a lift, there is a good group of players here that right now isn’t getting results but I believe I can turn that around.
“We want to aim for a top half finish this season, we have to be aware of the teams below us but we need to concentrate on ourselves and I think we need to be looking up rather than down.
“As a football club we win and lose together, that is very important and everybody plays a part."
