New Cobblers boss eager to make an impression
New Northampton Town manager Justin Edinburgh has been speaking of his delight at being appointed the new Northampton Town manager.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be here and to be given this opportunity,” he said.
“It’s a fantastic football club and as soon as everything was agreed I couldn’t wait to get started.
“There have been some great managers here in the past and I want to be on that list.
“I want to make an impression, it’s a huge challenge but I’m optimistic and I believe I can get a reaction from the players.
“Everyone I spoke to, and I spoke a number of people who are very respected within the game, and they couldn’t speak highly enough about the club and David and I both jumped at the opportunity.
“We’ve got to make an impact and we need to hit the ground running.”
