Justin Edinburgh previews Milton Keynes Dons v Northampton Town
New Northampton Town manager Justin Edinburgh says he is looking to have an early impact on the Northampton Town squad.
As he looked ahead to Saturday's game at Milton Keynes, he has called on his players to turn in a performance for the large travelling Cobblers support.
“It’s my first game in charge and I want to make an impact," he said.
“I want the team to make an impact and to be a team that the fans can be proud of.
“The crowd were excellent here last Saturday, I think they responded to the commitment the players showed and we are going to need that level of commitment week in, week out.
“MK Dons are still in a bit of a transition themselves and it’s a vastly open league this season.
“We want to hit the ground running and we will be looking to start Saturday on the front foot."
