JUSTIN EDINBURGH LOOKING TO GET OVER THE LINE ON SATURDAY

20 April 2017

The Cobblers boss previews Bury v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Justin Edinburgh is looking forward to Saturday’s trip to Bury, a game where Northampton Town are looking to secure their mathematical safety in League 1.

“It’s all geared up for a very good game,” he said.

“Bury will be buoyed with the result at Bolton and they are a strong experienced side. They are still fighting to secure their own survival but so are we.

“Mathematically we are not quite safe yet and I think that just shows the competitiveness of the division.

“The remit when I came in was to keep the club in this league and it’s still in our own hands.

“We are in a better position now but against the top teams we haven’t taken enough points and that is something that we have got to address for next season.

“We’ve got to concentrate on ourselves, we’ve had some tough games of late and Saturday will be no different.

“Our foot won’t be coming off the pedal, we’ve got two big games left and we will be giving it everything.”
